Dior’s Fall 2021 Collection was designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, whose aim is to explore the bonds she weaves with her time and era. From Richard Hamilton’s* English Pop to Marco Lodola’s rather acidic New Futurism, and Andy Warhol’s psychedelia while revisiting the Renaissance paintings of Paolo Uccello, the Fall 2021 collection is a constant movement between innovation and heritage, modernity and finesse.
“I felt that her remarkable character, her inimitable extravagances of taste, would have an excellent effect on the phlegmatic temperament which I had inherited from my Norman forebears,” Monsieur Dior wrote about Chiuri in his autobiography.
Hyper-colorful, transparent, shiny, embroidered or silvered, fashion becomes an experience with each piece. This collection is shaped by a transversal Pop philosophy.
