Emma Morris stayed with her baby Scarlett at the Early Parenting Centre to learn about her baby’s cues and how to teach her to go to sleep.

It’s a responsiveness-based program, which means there’s no controlled crying, crying out methods. Ms Morris is a first time mum and none of her usual methods of getting the baby to sleep, like breastfeeding or long walks in the pram, were sustainable any more. She said it was really important to learn how to get her baby to sleep and teach her how to sleep in her cot.
