Local fashion group holds fundraiser for family of boy who died in grease trap


Raynor’s mother had taken her son to work because she didn’t have a babysitter for him. The founders of Fashion Forward Edition say they want to keep any other mother from going through something like that.

“It’s so important, because back in the day we always had a community that surrounded us to let us know that if we couldn’t afford daycare, our grandmothers [or] our aunt, who wasn’t really our aunt, would take care of our kids,” said Sharian Jones, one of the founders of Fashion Forward Edition.
