The Pittenweem Arts Festival 2024 is set to take place from August 3rd to 10th, promising a significant expansion for the community-led event. This year, attendees can expect to witness the works of 5 amazing invited artists, alongside over 140 exhibiting artists, all set against the backdrop of the charming East Neuk of Fife.
Among the featured artists are Pauline Burbidge with her intricate textile arts, Charles Poulsen with his dynamic drawings, and David and Robert Mach with their provocative art. Additionally, Liam Dickson will showcase his photography and film-making skills, while Jennifer Alford, this year’s Henderson Award Winner, will present her beautiful ceramic works.
From early morning to late evening, the village of Pittenweem will be bustling with a diverse range of events catering to art enthusiasts of all ages. Whether you’re interested in family-friendly activities, creative workshops for children, or evening arts events to enjoy with friends, the festival promises something special for everyone every day.
The Pittenweem Arts Festival is also excited to unveil a refreshed brand and a new website (www.pittenweemartsfestival.co.uk). The updated visual identity and improved digital navigation aim to enhance the visitor experience, making it easier than ever to explore the festival’s line-up, engage with events, and plan visits. These enhancements underscore the festival’s commitment to making art accessible and engaging for all.
