In 2024, Beyond The Music is expanding their conference at the new cultural venue, Aviva Studios, run by Factory International. This year’s panels will cover a range of topics including Economics, Grassroots, Misogyny, AI, The Future of Music, Emerging Markets, and Classical, Hip Hop, and Electronic music.
By night, Beyond The Music will take over iconic grassroots venues in Manchester’s Northern Quarter for a celebration of new talent from around the world and across genres. They have also announced their support for Chai Wallahs’ ‘Drop A Headliner’ campaign, focusing on nurturing up-and-coming artists.
The first wave of artists for Beyond The Music 2024 has been revealed, including Adjustments, Baby Said, Blossom Caldaronem, D3LTA, Ditz, George Lawson, Lazy Day, Martial Arts, Mellt, Nyah Grace, OneDa, Shelf Lives, WRKHOUSE, and more.
The festival is currently seeking new artists to perform at the 2024 edition, with a focus on empowering and providing knowledge and space for honest conversations. The open call for artists aims to break down barriers and increase accessibility, with submissions closing on June 30th.
