Romantic band cancels appearance at Totally Tubular festival, The Tubes now performing

by Topwitty

The popular Totally Tubular festival, dedicated to the music of the ’80s, has announced a lineup change for its upcoming events. Set to begin on June 25 in Seattle and continue until July 28 in Cleveland, the festival has now added The Tubes to the roster. Known for their hit song “She’s A Beauty,” The Tubes will be performing from opening night until July 14.

In a surprising turn of events, The Romantics, famous for their song “What I Like About You,” had to withdraw from the festival due to an unexpected medical issue. On a positive note, Wang Chung has been included in the lineup for additional dates.

Other confirmed artists for the event include Thomas Dolby, Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey, Modern English, Men Without Hats, Bow Wow Wow, and Tommy Tutone. For a detailed schedule of dates and performers for each show, visit totallytubularfestival.com.
